NC State has launched a national search for its next provost, with PreMiEr researcher Rodolphe Barrangou among the distinguished faculty appointed to the search committee guiding the process.

NC State University has launched a national search for its next executive vice chancellor and provost following the announcement that Provost Warwick Arden will step down from the role and return to the faculty in the College of Veterinary Medicine. A search committee has been appointed to guide the process, co-chaired by Kate Meurs, Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, and Lewis Owen, Dean of the College of Sciences. Among the committee members is PreMiEr researcher Rodolphe Barrangou, Distinguished Professor and CRISPR Lab lead at NC State. The committee includes faculty, deans, students, and trustees representing a broad cross-section of the university community.
