PreMiEr Industry and Advisory Summit 2026

Road to Deployment: Building the Future of Healthy Indoor Microbiomes

Microorganisms in buildings affect human health, safety, building performance, and operational costs. At the same time, emerging research is creating new opportunities to measure, interpret, and potentially shape indoor microbial environments.

The 2026 PreMiEr Industry & Advisory Summit will bring together researchers, industry, end users, government agencies, standards organizations, and community partners to examine what it will take to move advances in the microbiome of the built environment from discovery toward responsible, scalable deployment.

Across two days, participants will explore the pathway from sensing and interpreting indoor environments to developing, validating, and deploying solutions – and identify the partnerships, evidence, and infrastructure needed to move promising technologies forward.

Conference Focuses

Key themes shaping the 2026 Summit agenda, from research translation to regulatory readiness.

Sensing the Built Environment

Explore emerging approaches for microbial sampling, environmental sensing, monitoring, and scalable field measurement.

Assessing and Modeling the Built Environment

Examine how AI, bioinformatics, modeling, risk assessment, and decision-support tools can turn measurements into actionable information.

Modifying the Built Environment

Explore emerging approaches to microbiome engineering and intervention, along with the safety, manufacturing, delivery, and scale-up questions they raise.

From End-User Need to Deployment

Consider how technologies move through validation, standards, regulation, procurement, implementation, and sustained operation.
